You’ll be fully integrated into our client’s engineering team, working side-by-side with experienced developers and taking ownership of the full development lifecycle and technical architecture.

This is a hybrid role based in Warsaw – 4 days per week in the office.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end development process and define the technical architecture
• Lead and mentor a small team of engineers (10 people total)
• Collaborate closely with product and design teams to shape the roadmap
• Stay hands-on with development, contributing to both backend and frontend
• Ensure scalability, performance, and security of the platform
• Promote engineering best practices and continuous improvement

What you bring

• Strong expertise in PHP (Laravel) – must-have
• Expert-level knowledge of TypeScript, React, and Next.js
• Experience with infrastructure and self-hosted WebSocket solutions
• Proven leadership experience – team management, tech direction, cross-functional collaboration
• Solid communication skills in English (written and spoken)
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, product-driven environment
• Background or genuine interest in Web3 and gaming
• Bonus: familiarity with Go
