You will be fully integrated into our client’s remote engineering team developing a SaaS solution for emergency alerting and crisis management.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot
• Work with relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases
• Ensure performance, reliability, and scalability in high-availability environments
• Create and manage containerized deployments with Docker and Kubernetes
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
• Collaborate with product, frontend, and mobile teams to deliver end-to-end features

What you bring

• 5+ years of experience in backend development
• Strong skills in Java and Spring Boot
• Experience with both SQL and document-based databases
• Practical knowledge of Docker and deploying containerized apps
• Familiarity with Kubernetes (production or staging)
• Experience with CI/CD workflows and version control tools (GitHub or similar)
• Focus on clean, testable, and maintainable code
