We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong experience in Java and Elastic Stack to design, build, and optimize search and analytics solutions in an enterprise environment on AWS. The role combines software engineering, cloud, and data/search expertise.
Responsibilities
- Build and improve search & analytics solutions using Java and Elastic Stack on AWS
- Design and optimize indexing, queries, pipelines and analytics features
- Work with ML/Deep Learning components in search-related use cases
- Take ownership over reliability, scalability and security of the platform
- Work in GitLab CI/CD environment and contribute to engineering standards
- Collaborate in an Agile team and help shape technical decisions

What you bring
- Strong background as a Software Engineer with Java, Linux, Docker, GitLab, SQL
- Experience running Elastic Stack on AWS (5+ years in enterprise environments)
- 3+ years working with ML / Deep Learning / Data Science / Search or Analytics topics
- Hands-on experience designing or optimizing search systems at scale
- Experience with GitLab CI/CD for Elastic data pipelines
- Work experience with Jira & Confluence
- German language at C1 level (spoken and written)
