About
You will be fully integrated into our client’s engineering team operations and dynamics.
Product: A crypto-gaming platform combining blockchain and gaming.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize scalable backend services in Node.js, using Fastify for speed and efficiency.
- Integrate and manage relational and non-relational databases to support our applications.
- Work with caching systems, such as Redis and Kafka, to maximize performance.
- Collaborate closely with frontend and backend teams to ensure seamless integration and reliability.
- Use GitHub for version control, handling merges, rebases, and maintaining a clean codebase.
- Engage in architectural discussions, contributing ideas for scaling and enhancing performance.

What you bring
- 5+ years of experience in backend development, focusing on Node.js and Fastify.
- Familiarity with PHP
- Strong experience with relational (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and non-relational databases
- Proficient with GitHub, including advanced version control workflows
- Background with high-traffic, scalable applications
- Comfortable with a hybrid work setup in Warsaw
- Excellent English language skills
